VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mr. Abel Delaney Barlow Sr., 63, will be held at 2PM Friday January 28, 2022 in the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Mr. Barlow, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Friday January 21, 2022 at his residence.
He will be missed by his loving family, wife Leslie Barlow of Ville Platte; daughters Makessian Morgan and husband Josh of Ville Platte, Angel Barlow of Missouri, Meshell Rose Garcia of Colorado; son Cy Wainwright of Morrow; brothers David, Anthony, Buddy, P-Joe, Taylor, Darrell; sisters Shirley, Rita, Lena, Susie, Azley; grandchildren Tristan, Madison, Joshua Paul, Abel III, Lovelyn, Beau, Jesse, Cameron, Nikita, Nathan, Kyle, Alexis, Natalie, Conner; 2 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hillery and Mabel Rivet Barlow, son Abel Delaney Barlow Jr., brothers Hillery and Melvin.
Visitation will be held Friday January 28, 2022 from 10AM until the time of services.
