Funeral services for Barbara Sue "Susie" Tate, 72, will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Memorial Garden North in Blanchard, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath South.
Susie was born on September 16, 1949 to Richard Carroll Bass and Barbara Hild Bass in Olla, Louisiana and passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in Shreveport.

Susie was a very sweet, caring person that would do anything for anybody. Family came first with Susie, particularly her children and grandchildren. She was very gifted in many areas including arts and crafts, sewing, crocheting and was always making gifts for family and friends from her talents. She also loved to read. She was still working as an Executive Administrative Assistant for the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Support.

Susie is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Carolyn Bass Cornwell, Cherie Bass Wilson and husband, John Phillip Green.
