Long time South Knoxville treasure, John "Johnny" Reed passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. John was a graduate of Young High School and a member of the US military. While in the US Air Force, John served in Vietnam, Panama, and Langley AFB.
He is preceded in death by parents, Ed and Lucy Reed; brothers, Jerry Reed, Jim Reed; sisters, Judy McClanahan, Jeane Denno; and former spouse, Judy Booker Reed.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Reed (Greg Brooks); grandchildren, Kyle and Stacy Brooks; devoted friend and partner, Barbara McDonald (Reece and Caroline); special nieces and nephews, Terry Reed, Patty Hamilton, Jenni Fisher (Don), Jimmy Denno, Charlie Denno (Jeanine), Susie Denno, Sam Denno (Terry), John McClanahan, Brian McClanahan (Ronda), Chris Reed (Michele); several great & great-great nieces and nephews; and many, many friends in the Antique Community.
