William Barry McHenry

William Barry McHenry, 59, of Denton, Maryland died Dec. 27, 2007 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. The cause of death was unknown.

Mr. McHenry was born Jan. 12, 1949, in Washington, D.C., to the late Willis Rexford and Loretta Sarah Cain McHenry. He attended Wheaton High School.

He worked as a self employed carpet installer, where he catered to the embassies in the Washington, D.C. area, doing the installation and tile work.

Mr. McHenry joined the Army in February 1966, and served in Vietnam.

He was a member of the Silver Spring Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2562, where he was also a member of the Color Guard, the Military Order of COOTIE, and a life member of the Twin Brook American Legion.

Survivors include his former wife, Lori Marie Brecheen Longest; and three sons, William Ryan McHenry and Christopher "Mike" Puffenbarger of Denton, and James Willis McHenry of Chester.
