July 23, 1939 - January 22, 2022

William Harold Bowman, age 82 of Tip Top, VA passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Salem, VA. Born July 23, 1939 at Tip Top, VA he was a son of the late W.D. Bowman and Ora Belle Proffitt Bowman. He was a US Army Veteran, honorably discharged with the rank of Spec 4. He was a Christian being baptized in the Church of Christ. Harold spent several years in Detroit, Michigan installing security systems. He later returned to Virginia to care for his mother and father and using his talent for cooking opened a sub and pizza shop in North Tazewell, VA which he named "Bo's" and operated for several years. Harold loved his extended family and spent much of his time visiting and traveling to each of their homes.

Harold is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA where funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM with minister Tom Crise officiating.

Burial will be a private family service at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where military graveside rites will be conducted by Barns Beavers VFW Post # 7136 of Tazewell, VA and Virginia National Guard Honor Team of Gate City, VA.
