Billy Wayne Johnson passed away on January 25, 2022. He was born on November 17, 1947 to the late Troy and Bernice Johnson. Billy enjoyed playing guitar, collecting antiques, working on old cars, fishing, and was an Alabama "Rolltide" fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his great-grand babies. Billy was very loved and will be missed.
In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his brother; Larry Johnson and his sister; Lynn Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife; Louise Johnson, his sons; Dewayne (Chris) Johnson, Shane (Amy) Johnson, daughter; Chastity (Jason) Rich, sisters; Betty and Nellie Davis, grandchildren; Rustin (Hope) Johnson, Taylor (Mitchell) Brice, Bailey (Bekah) Johnson, Brittany (Ryan) Hallford, Zackary (Brooke) Rich, Brent (Ansley) Johnson, Tori (Michael) Martin, great-grandchildren; Annabelle Johnson, Andie Johnson, Anderson Johnson, Rhett Hallford, Waylon Rich, and Asa Martin.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 12:00pm until 3:00pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00pm with Reverend Micheal Gaskin and Reverend Glenn Pittman officiating. Interment will be at Peaceful Meadows with Rustin Johnson, Brent Johnson, Zachary Rich, Bailey Johnson, Ryan Hallford, and Mitchell Brice serving as pallbearers.
