Lois Jean Moore of Long Grove, a longtime resident of Mt. Prospect, passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on January 24th. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Robert F. Moore for over 65 years, mother of Patricia (the late Bobby) Ratliff, the late Carole Moore, Robert J. (Carol) Moore, Susan (Jeffrey) Gray; cherished grandmother of Robert (Natalie) Ratliff, John (Haley) Ratliff, Marcella Bisesi, Maggie Bisesi, Robert M.(Shanna) Moore, Jeffrey ( Jackie) Moore, Jonathan (Ashley Janann) Moore, Catherine Gray, Megan Gray; great grandmother of Caden Moore, Cole Moore, Ava Moore, Robert Moore, Robert Ratliff, Olivia Ratliff; fond aunt of her nieces and nephews. Lois graduated from David B. Oliver High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Lois, known to her close friends as Pinky, was a fun-loving, kind, sweet woman who enjoyed raising her four children and spending time with all her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing tennis, golf, bridge and cards of any kind. She lived a fulfilling life. She and her late husband Bob, spent most of their retired lives attending their grandchildren's events even if they had to travel to them. Family was everything to her.
