Bob was born on February 13, 1929 in Paris Arkansas, Logan County .
His parents William F and Eula Houser.
He graduated from Paris High School in May 1947 and then attended Harding College for two years before moving to Kansas City, Missouri.
Bob met Joyce Rogers in October 1947 and married her in June 1950 in Crocket Arkansas at her parent's house. They remained devoted to each other for 68 years. During their 35 year residence in Kansas City they raised three children while Bob worked his way up from an entry position at a heavy equipment company to become Vice President of the firm.
Bob and Joyce moved to Hot Springs Village in 1984 to enjoy all that it had to offer. Bob enjoyed many years of golf, fishing and wood working. Bob and Joyce were members of the Village Church of Christ.
Bob was predeceased by his wife Joyce Houser, a daughter Elizabeth Matza, brother Bill Houser, and grandson Joseph Lane.
He is survived by son Towery Houser, daughter Pamela Lane, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Village Church of Christ on Balboa Road.
