Christopher Eugene "Chris" Johnson April 15, 1968 - January 24, 2022

Christopher "Chris" Eugene Johnson, 53, of 421 Silver Lake Road, Duncan, S.C. passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at his residence.

Born in Spartanburg, S.C. he was the son of the late Harry O'Neal Johnson and Judy Fowler Johnson.

He formerly worked for Wood Plus, a NASCAR fan, especially Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is a son, Brett Johnson, Jr. (Shelby) of Reidville, S.C.; a daughter, Krislyn Edge (Seth) of Roebuck, S.C.; a brother, Todd Johnson of Roebuck; five grandchildren, Journey Edge, Scarlett Edge, Bradley McCullough, Annalynn Lawing and Everly Johnson; "his ole lady" Shanna Simmons of Roebuck; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Painter and Nicky Gibson and two sisters, Sheena Barnes and Sherry Mace.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
