ANSON – SALVADOR RAMOS, SR. went to be with our Lord and Savior January 24, 2022, at the age of 83. Services will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Saint Michael's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Born February 7, 1938 in Corpus Christi, Salvador was a son of the late Frank and Maria Carmen Mermea (Griego) Ramos, Sr. He married his sweetheart, Alisia Garcia, and shared a loving marriage for 64 years. Salvador was a farmer and carpenter. He also coached his sons Little League baseball teams and he was an umpire. Salvador help build the Liberty Softball Field. He was past president of the Liberty Softball Association. He was a member of the Saint Michael's Catholic Church.

Salvador was preceded by his parents, his brother (Frank Ramos, Jr,) and half brother (Michael Ramos).

Survivors include his wife, Alisia Ramos; two sons, Danny Ramos (and wife, Mary) and Sal Ramos, Jr. (and wife, Sherry Ann); two daughters, Mary Pekowski (and husband, Edward) and Ruth Ann Flores (and husband, Rene); eight brothers, Louis Ramos, Trino Ramos, Terry Ramos and Joe Ramos, Ramiro Ramos, Ramon Ramos, Richard Ramos and Paul Ramos; five sisters, Tonya Munoz, Linda Munoz, Rebecca Baiza, Ofellia Allen and Jessica Pyron; his step mother, Sadie Ramos; 13 grandchildren, Audrey Sutton, Stevie Pekowski, Ashley Baughman, Amber Gonzales, Joseph Pekowski, Joshua Pekowski, Sebastian Pekowski, Allison Pekowski, Johnathan Ramos, Aaron Ramos, Arianna Allisin, Jaden Flores and Britney Ramos; and 17 great-grandchildren.
