He was born on April 8, 1948, the son of Jack and Jesse Ethel (Shriver) Porter. He grew up in Hugoton and attended schools there graduating from Hugoton High School.
Kelly lived in Clearwater Beach, Florida, and Durango, Colorado, before moving to Parsons in 1996.
Kelly loved his pets, antiques, collectibles, and he enjoyed all types of sports. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks Fan. He was a patriotic man who loved his country.
He is survived by his cousins, relatives, and friends.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 28, 2022, at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton with Pastor Eric Mason officiating.
