Kenneth D. Hughes, age 51, of Cave City passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021. He was a native of Cave City and worked for Roten Tree Service and Townsend Tree Service for many years. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jr. Hughes and Hazel Stinson Hughes; one daughter, Ashley Hughes.
He is survived by two sons, Jonathan Childress (Samantha) and Joseph Hagerty; two daughters, Mercie "Springborn" Demots (Timothy) and Cassandra Hughes Bryant (Anthony); nine grandchildren, Shelby Joyce, Adlee, and Zoey Childress, Jordan Springborn, Kaden Lee, Ayden Heath, Liam, Alayna, Ezlynn, and Isla Bryant; one sister, Kimberly Woods (Steve); ex-wives, Tara Reed and Tina Summers; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Winn Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held for the family at a later date.
