Dennis D. Mallory, age 81, of Celina passed away at 1:27 am on January 25, 2022, at Mercer Health in Coldwater.

He was born on April 6, 1940, to the late Cecil & Ruby (Muickley) Mallory.

He is survived by his loving children, Cheryl (Stevan) Evans of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Teri (Mark Krogman) Mallory Bowen of Celina, Bobby (GiGi) Mallory of Tennessee, Michael Mallory of Phoenix Arizona and Scott Mallory of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He is also survived by a sister, Sue (Robert) Eilerman of Dayton, a brother-in-law, Eugene Spicer of Celina; eighteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Tommy Mallory; sisters, Naomi Spicer, Corky (Bill) Youngs and Diane Creeden; and a brother, Jim (Thelma) Mallory.

Dennis was a 1958 graduated of Celina High School. He continued his education at Wright State University and received his bachelor's degree and master's degree in Business Management. Dennis retired as the Auglaize County Emergency Director after many years of employment.

The Ohio State Buckeyes were Dennis' favorite sports team to follow and support, he was an avid Buckeye fan. Dennis also enjoyed fishing and watching Fox News on a regular basis. Most importantly, Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family; he always put a smile on their faces, even when they reminisce and joke about the way they were disciplined by their dad as young children.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.

Funeral services will follow calling hours, at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Mercer County Council on Aging.
