Funeral services honoring the life of Mr. Daniel Paul Johnson will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Joy Anthony officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with Catholic services at 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Johnson, 55, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.

He was a 1984 graduate of Bolton High School, where he was on the baseball team. He worked for many years as a maintenance technician for the City of Alexandria. His passion was hunting and fishing and he dearly loved his mother. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Lee Johnson; and one sister, Phylliss Ann Johnson.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving mother, Mary Ann Johnson, of Pineville; three brothers, Ronnie Johnson, and his wife, Laura Ford, of Alexandria, Brett Johnson, and his fiancé, Cat Beck, of Georgetown, and Tony Johnson, of Pineville; one sister, Kelly Duck, and her husband, Gregory, of Pineville; along with three nieces and five nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Parker Johnson, Chandler Johnson, Autumn Duck, Landon Johnson, and Tyler Johnson.
