After graduating from Redford High School Roger proudly served in the United States Army for many years. Roger was a very talented man. At the young age of 4 he discovered his natural ability to play the trumpet. By the age of 6 he was performing with the Detroit Symphony. He enjoyed woodworking, building cars, traveling and could fix just about anything he put his hands on. Roger will be missed dearly but has reunited with beautiful bride for eternity.
He is survived by his children, Eric Davis (Julie) and Eleanor Stevens (Tom); 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Roger is preceded in death by his siblings.
A graveside service with military honors will take place on Tuesday, February 1st at 10am at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Mo.
