Mary Joan Bennett Caldwell, age 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at her home in Canton, GA. She was born on September 25, 1943, in Doe Run, GA to the late James Allen Bennett and Lena O'Kelley Bennett.

Along with her parents, Joan, as she was known by friends and family, is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert "Bert" Eugene Caldwell, Jr. and son, Timothy Bryan Caldwell. Joan is survived by her children, James "Tony" Caldwell and his wife Karla, Randall "Randy" Caldwell and his wife Angel; grandchildren, Mackenzie Caldwell, Kasey Caldwell, Nolan Caldwell, Aidan Caldwell, T.J. Caldwell (Terri), James Taylor Caldwell (Monica), Eryn Hofmann (Connor) and two great grandchildren. Joan is also survived by her two sisters, Patsy Kelly (Martin), Polly Tanner and numerous nieces and nephews.

The graveside service celebrating Joan's life is Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Senoia City Cemetery with Rev. Keith Pritchett officiating.
