Willie James Phillips, 73, Harrisburg, entered eternal life January 21, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Willie and Edna R. Phillips; and wife, Carolyn A. Phillips. A graduate of William Penn High School, he attended HAAC; served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; and retired from New Cumberland Army Depot. He was a member of New Anointed Christian Fellowship Ministries.
Surviving are his daughters, Lisa Newton-Holmes (Mike), Mary Cargile (Durand), Pamela Newton-Anthony (Carlton), Deborah Sims; brothers, Thomas Reid (Jonita), Stephen Phillips (Joan); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, godchild and other relatives.
His life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at Wallace Funeral Directors; viewing, 10 a.m.; interment, Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 9 a.m., Tuesday, February 1st.
