James Harry Love, 90, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
He was born in Dillon County, SC, a son of the late Billie and Maggie Love. After high school, he joined the United States Marines and was stationed at Cherry Point, NC. He was employed with Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company in Florence for 34 years.
Mr. Love was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he formerly served as a deacon. He was also a former member of the Florence Optimist Club and the Hampton Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and traveling in his younger years.
He was predeceased by his wife of 64 ½ years, Mildred Gerald Love; a brother, Calvin Love; and a sister, Bessie Roberts.
