Graveside Services for Kay Johnson, 84, of Gilmer, will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the Heritage Center at Kelsey Cemetery with Bud Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am prior to the service in the Heritage Center. Arrangements are under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home.
Kay was born January 28, 1937, to Benjamin Cluff and Larcie Laurie Dawson Dixon, in Gilmer, Texas and passed from this life January 23, 2022 in Gilmer, Texas.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lisa Bickerdike and her husband, Donald; son, Michael Talley; daughter, Tracy Talley; sister, Dorotha Carroll and her husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, Robin Tuel Stephenson, Derek Tuel, Blake Talley, Kyle Talley, and Brandon Talley; and great grandchildren, Skylar and Marley Stephenson, Caki, Clara Beth, and Collin Talley, and Jace and Lilly Talley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Laurie Dixon; sister, Rae Nell Loyd; and her husband, Doyle Johnson
Pallbearers are Derek Tuel, Blake Talley, Kyle Talley, Brandon Talley, Rodney Carroll, and Donald Bickerdike.
