Amy R. Goodman
February 29, 1968 - January 24, 2022

Amy R. Goodman, 53, of North Manchester, passed away, Monday, January 24, 2022 after battling a short illness, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. She was born February 29, 1968 in Columbia City to Chester and Janet (Finken) Goodman.

They survive along with her partner, Leah Boardley; a sister, Erin (Patrick) Linkenhoker of North Manchester; a brother, Chet (Christine) Goodman of Pierceton; four nieces, Gabby (Brett) Ruckman, Leighandra Goodman, Lillian and Lanie Linkenhoker; a nephew, Chad Goodman; and her three four legged children (dogs), Petey, Charlie & Tinsel.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Chad E. Goodman, and her previous partner of 16 years, Cheryl Lambert.

A 1986 graduate of Whitko High School, she was active in basketball and marching band, where she played the drums. She worked for Frito-Lay food company for 20 years.

Her love of life was evident in the way she lived. For us she really is that pebble thrown into a lake, as the lives she touched act as ripples that extend far beyond her family. Amy loved her family, partner, friends, fur babies, and "The Price is Right", more than anything.

She was beautiful, kind, funny, selfless, spunky, smart and tough. She never met a stranger and was sincerely kind to everyone she met. Her contagious laugh and bright smile will forever be imprinted on our hearts.

Her love of sports extended far beyond just being a fan of Notre Dame. She was the #1 fan at her nieces and nephew's sporting events. If you didn't see her in the stands, or coaching you definitely heard her!

Visitation will be Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. According to Amy's wishes, cremation will take place, and no other service will take place. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton at a later date.

Memorial gifts can be directed to Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 1048 S. 325 E., Pierceton, Indiana 46562, https://awlwarsaw.com/.
