shows 1847 as birth year.
This is not correct; (1847
puts has his age at 15
when married). I have found
errors on tombstones to be very
rare, but they do happen.
Both father & mother are
deceased by the 1860 census.
Lewis & two other siblings are
in the household of older brother,
John & wife on the 1860 census.
