Mrs. Donna Carol Miller Phillips, 79, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was born January 13, 1943 in Forsyth County to Myrtle Ayers Miller and Robert Vestal Miller, Sr. Mrs. Phillips retired from Piedmont Airlines and was a lifelong member of Union Ridge United Methodist Church where she loved to sing in the choir. Mrs. Phillips loved spending time with her family at the beach or at the lake. She had a sense of adventure and loved to travel in which she shared with her grandchildren and many other family members. Donna loved to watch the sunset by the pool and enjoyed Friday nights and weekends with "The Golden Girls." She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Jerry Pitts and Chuck Phillips; two brothers, R.V. Miller and Red Miller and three sisters, Clara Moser, Ameilia Smith and Irene Martin. Surviving are her two daughters, Kim Leonard (Perry) and Sharon Tuttle; three grandchildren, Tyler Pitts, Kristen Leonard and Abby Tuttle and two sisters, Linda Ketner and Candy Newsom. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Union Ridge United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
