Mr. Williamson was born July 1, 1941 in Oak Park to the late George Williamson and the late Rosie Hewett Williamson. He was a carpenter and millwright with Local Union 865. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his daughter, Megan Williamson of Alma; sons, Ronnie (Janet) Williamson of Hortense, Ricky Williamson of Baxley, and James Allen (Whitney) Denmark of Eatonton; sister, Arvonia Courson; and a special friend and companion, Violene Williams of Baxley. Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Dr. Romanita Bennamon officiating. A private interment will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
