Linda (Williams) Gibson was born January 17,1962 to Alfred and Annie-Ruth Williams. Linda was the second oldest of 5 children but was always looked to as the eldest.

Linda attended Danville High School and went on to receive her C.N.A license from D.A.C.C in the early 2000's. She married the love of her life Darryl Gibson on December 16, 2006.

Linda was employed at the Danville V.A. for over 10 years and received the 2016 Excellence in Nursing award for her care and dedication to her veterans. Linda loved caring for others, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was a beloved member of New Jerusalem Church of Jesus Christ W.O.M and served on the usher board.

Linda entered eternal rest on January 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Annie-Ruth Williams, her sister Madeline Williams and great grandson Amere Young. She leaves to Cherish her memory her husband of 15 years Darryl Gibson, Her children Georgetta (Rickey) Lane, Jerry Williams, Conswella Smith, Jerreesha (Antonio) Williams-Smith, Cleavonda Williams, and Tavion Williams. As well as her special God-Son Camden Beasley. Two sisters Annette Alexander and Bertha Williams. As well as her brother Alfred Williams Jr. and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews family and friends.

Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery.
