Danny R. Parsons, 77, of Lizton, passed away on January 24, 2022. He was born on December 24, 1944 in Indianapolis to the late Edgar and Mildred Parsons. Danny was honorably discharged from the Indiana Air National Guard as a Major. After serving for 12 years and flying the F-84 and F-100 fighter jets. He absolutely loved flying and gave all of his heart and passion while he did so during his 12 years. Danny was a systems analyst for AT&T retiring in 2005 after 30 plus years. He enjoyed hunting and was famous for making his own fudge. Danny was a real life MacGyver and if he didn't have the proper tool to use he would make the tool. He was preceded in death by a grand daughter, Shannon. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:00 am in Mary Queen-Peace Catholic Church (1005 W. Main Street, Danville, IN 46122) where friends may visit from 9:00 am until time of the Funeral Mass. Survivors include his loving wife, Eileen Parsons; sons, Michael (Mary), Brian (Lisa), Robert (Heather) and Charles Parsons; brothers, Ronald (Ruth), Leland and Keith (Susan) Parsons; grandchildren, Jeni, Brooklyn, Kaycee, Brandi, Nicholas, Ethan, Ashley, Julianne, Gretchen and Adrian; 3 great grandchildren.
