St. George, Utah – Steven Howard Peterson, 78, passed away January 21, 2022. He was born May 8, 193 in Richfield, Utah to Howard and Donetta Lewis Peterson. He married Sylvia Staples September 20, 1961, in Central Valley, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Bloomington Stake Center, 200 West Brigham Road, St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., and on Friday, prior to services from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
