Ms. Vickie Brown, 67 of Tylertown, MS passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at her residence in Tylertown, MS. She was born Monday, September 06, 1954 in Tylertown, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 10:30 AM until service at 1:00 PM at Hartman Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown, MS with Reverend Justin Knight officiating. Burial will follow in the New Zion Cemetery. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Known as "Granny" by those closest to her. Ms. Vickie was a compassionate nurse for Blackwell's Family Medicine in Tylertown, MS. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and loyal dog of 12 years Chip.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alvis E. and Hilda Fortenberry.
Survivors include her children Jennifer B. Smith (Larry), Julie M. Blackwell (Chris), Matt Brown (Karla), and Cody D. Brown (Kelsey); grandchildren Justin T. Terrell, Kaleigh D. Magee, Mason N. Stinson, Kyndal G. Blackwell, Karson R. Blackwell ,Tyler M. Brown, McKinley M. Brown, and Piper A. Brown; great grandchildren Paisley Terrell, Brayden Terrell, Kayson Brown, and Kenleigh Brown; brothers Anthony Fortenberry (Gina) and Richard Fortenberry; sister Emmie Sue Pulliam; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
