Janell loved Jesus, loved her family, and simply loved life. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a wonderful homemaker for her family and a loving wife to James, her husband for over 60 years. She was an excellent cook who was known for her homemade potato salad and dressing, and her delicious cookies and brownies. Family was very important to Janell, and she was known as the family caretaker, having taken excellent care of her siblings, as well as her mother. Before she began attending school, Janell's mom taught her how to read, so at five years-old, she began the first grade already knowing how to read.
She was an incredibly sweet person with a kind and giving heart, always willing to help anyone in need. Janell will be deeply and forever missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Brown, her parents, Mary and Harvey Chadwell, a grandson, Derek Brown, and five siblings, Judy S. Lay, Marilyn Bea Chadwell, Cecil Dee Chadwell, Wenzell Lee Chadwell, and Elzene Dyer.
