Linda Gail Jackson Adams, age 55, of Toccoa, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her home.

Born December 20, 1966 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of Ruby Hicks Williams and the late Claudell Williams. Linda was a member of Christ Fellowship, was the owner of Linda's Place At The Rebel, and had spent 25 years working at the BBQ Shack.

Family members include her son, Joseph Adams (Laina Kilby) of Toccoa; her mother, Ruby Williams of Toccoa; sister and brother-in-law, Kim Williams and Ben of Martin and Tammie Williams of Toccoa; grandchildren, Karson Cottrell, Christopher Stephen, Brenton Stephen, and Caramie Mills; her companion, Rodney Weaver; daughters-in-law, Cherrish Savage, Mariah Cottrell (Dusten Cottrell); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Adams; her brother, Johnny Lewallen; and her sister, Patsy Lewallen.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Masks are optional.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Thursday, January 27, 2022 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jewell Gaines and the Rev. Scott Collett officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Joseph Adams, Blake Lewallen, Christopher, Stephen, Brenton Stephen, Dominique Major, and Brandon Watson. Dusten Cottrell and Karson Cottrell will serve has honorary pallbearers.

Flowers are optional. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter.
