Daughter of Ward Hill Lamon and Angelina Turner Lamon. Aged 2 yrs., 1 mo. & 3 days. Osw her sister, Kate Lincoln Lamon. Since Julia's date of death preceeds Springhill's founding (1864), she was likely first interred at the Old Williams Graveyard and later reinterred when that cemetery closed.
The Lamon family was a prominent Danville family; Ward Hill Lamon, Julia's father, was Abraham Lincoln's law partner and later his bodyguard.
