Mrs. Linda was born in Magnolia, MS on January 9, 1947 and was the daughter of BF Brown and Jennie Lee Tarver Brown. She was a long time member of New Heights Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving the Lord. She loved to cook and was known for her many special dishes. She enjoyed spending time in her flower beds and pot plants. She was a loving person who had many friends. She loved her family and her church family so much. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her in-laws, Joe H. Jackson and Mildred Mae Cheatham Jackson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Joe B. Jackson of Summit, MS; two sons, Charles A. Jackson and Tamara of Summit, MS, and Michael W. Jackson and friend, Bekki of Summit, MS; one daughter, Teresa L. Jackson and friend, Kevin of Saucier, MS; two brothers, John L. Brown and Joyce of Jackson, MS, and Marvin E. Brown and Carol of Summit, MS; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one special friend, Linda Stogner, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Johnson, Gene Jackson, Kenny Sullivan, Michael B. Jackson, Brantley D. Jackson, and Carl Hornbeak. Honorary Pallbearer will be Owen Brown.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 12PM until time of service at 2PM at New Heights Baptist Church in Summit, MS with Bro. Rick Kennedy and Bro. Randy Burdeaux officiating. A burial will follow in the Pike Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McComb, MS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to New Heights Baptist Church, Building/Capital Improvement Fund.
