Edwin Watson was born on December 23, 1942, in Mount Carey, St. James Jamaica to Norah Matherson and William Watson.

Edwin was the first of ten children. He spent most of his teenage years in Mount Carey, where he attended the Mount Carey all-aged School. Edwin had a passion for farming. It was then he decided that he would quit school to pursue his passion. He then moved to Kingston. Jamaica. where he secured his first job at the Bellevue Hospital as a janitorial worker.

After a few years at Bellevue, he had the opportunity to migrate to the United States of America to work as a farm worker in the late 80's. After traveling to many states, he decided that he was going to settle down in Florida. Edwin was very reliable and dedicated person. He was very kind and funny. He would always leave you with a belly full of laughter and a bag full of crops from his garden. You would know you were in for a surprise when he started off by saying, "Tell me something".

Edwin was preceded in death by his mother, Norah Matherson father, William Watson; sisters, Valior Guthrie,Grace Guthrie and brother, Ivan Guthrie.

The Lord in his infinite wisdom deemed it timely to call our beloved Edwin to his eternal resting place on Thursday, January 6. 2022.
