Lois Laverne Patterson - Moore's love was experienced by all who were a part of her life. Lois, a Christian who was saved at a young age, passed away on January 19th, 2022, at the age of 85 while surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

A beautiful soul and gifted singer, Lois when in her late 20's and early 30's, sang in the gospel group known as the "Calvary Singers". She then focused on starting a family when married to Robert Moore. Later in life and on her own, Lois went to college at night and became a finance comptroller while raising her two children. Lois's love was anchored in her faith, family and friends all throughout her life.

Lois loved cooking the big family meals, visiting with family and friends, gardening and making crafts while she was in good health and listening to a good sermon and gospel music. Her kindness, love and door were always open to those who were in need. Lois had many friends and a few cherished ones that would be friends for a lifetime, even for 50-60 years; through visits, letters, road trips, phone calls and finally learning social media the past couple years. She had an uncanny ability to find joy in the simplest things in life.

Lois was born to Lowell Lee and Lillie Dee Patterson on April 7, 1936. Born in Sulphur Springs, Texas, her Parents moved to Dallas, Texas when Lois was a senior in high school.
