Tim was born January 10, 1957 in Lima, OH, to the late Seth Vernon and Mary Cecilia (Miller) Wilson. On November 27, 1988 he married Kristie (Roby) Wilson.
Tim had attended Lima Central Catholic High School and was a 1975 graduate of Lima Senior High. He had previously worked at Textron and had retired from Tower Automotive in Bluffton. He enjoyed playing pool and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Tim loved listening to music and was a talented story teller. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kristie Wilson of Elida; two step-daughters, Katie (Jason) Geer of Lima and Leigh Moore of Reynoldsburg; grandson, Donavan Moore of Elida; great-granddaughter, Rhyan Moore; great-grandson Grayson Moore on the way; five sisters, Jeanne Borkowski, Kathleen Swaney, Miriam (Everett) Birkemeier, Joan (James) Maitlen, Beth (Kenn) Pohlman; two sisters-in-law, Sue Wilson and Valerie (Glen) Biederman; brother-in-law, Bob (Kelley) Roby and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers, Phillip Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Gregory "Cosmo" Wilson and brother-in-law, Don Borkowski.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida. Pastor Scott Dove will officiate the service. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW #1275 and the United States Army.
