Pete was called to his heavenly home on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the age of 74.
He was a resident of Bedico, Louisiana where he was known to be a family man with a kind heart. Pete was a lifetime member of Bedico Church of God. He was a talented welder that worked throughout many shipyards. He enjoyed hunting squirrels and rabbits and watching his favorite football team, The Saints. Pete was a caring and compassionate brother, father and grandfather that will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley Stanga Beaujeaux; sons, Garland Beaujeaux (Penny); daughters, Shelia Bowers (Larry), Christal Beaujeaux; brother, Jerry Beaujeaux; sister, Christine Gonzales; grandchildren, Nicole Beaujeaux, CJ and JC Bowers.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice, and Lucille Beaujeaux; brothers, Ted, Ronnie, and Joseph Beaujeaux; sisters, Patsy Estopinal, Dianne Leonard, and Jeanne Marie Ball.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Bedico Church of God located at 28336 LA-22 in Ponchatoula, on Saturday, September 25, 2021, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service that will be officiated by Rev. Derrick Jarrell at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Stanga Cemetery.
