Mabel confessed Christ at an early age. She attended Ebenezer Baptist Church in Ivor Virginia. Mabel loved music, dancing and talking with her sisters Arlene and Stella. Mabel relocated to Hackensack New Jersey, where she met and married the love of her life, the late Vernon Henry. Mable worked hard as a stay-at-home wife and mother of their 5 children. She also worked at a part time housekeeper. Mable later relocated in 1980 to Norfolk, Virginia where she attended 1st Calvary Baptist Church under Pastor Charles Springer.
She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Stella Smith of Paterson, New Jersey; five children; Patricia Henry of Norfolk, Virginia, Kim Henry of Burlington, New Jersey, Vernon Henry Jr (Cheryl), Clifton, New Jersey. She is pre-deceased by Kathy Henry. She also leaves behind 9 grandkids: Alexandra, Willeen, Rodina, Georgetta, Aeshea, Shawn, Darryl, Mr. Vernon III, 23 Grandkids, 9 Great grand kids and her special friend William Harris.
