Diane "Becky" was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece and cousin. To her, family was everything and she truly loved her family with all her heart. Born and raised in South Louisiana all her life, Becky was a devout Catholic whose life was centered around serving the Lord to her greatest ability. She worked at Calcasieu Marine retiring after over 20 years and later returned to work at the Grand Casino Coushatta on its opening day. She remained with the casino until the end. Her happiness came from spending time with family, traveling to visit and spoiling her grandkids and the occasional trip to a casino to chance her luck. She was adored by many and a true friend to everyone she met. Her smile was infectious, and she could put a smile on the face of anyone she came across. Her loss will be felt by an entire community.
Becky is survived in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Paul Thomas, Jr. of Oberlin; son, Farrell Dwayne Thomas and wife, Lisa, of Long Beach, MS; and two grandchildren, Dylan and Alicia. She is also survived by several nephew's, a niece, multiple great nephews and nieces and many more who called her sister, cousin, auntie, and best friend.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Eva Ceaser; sister, Tina Horne; and her brother, Gregory Hampton, all from Kinder, Louisiana.
