Everett Middleton Sr., age 77 of Harlan, passed away Saturday January 22, 2022. He was born July 25, 1944 to the late Lon and Lillie Stapleton Middleton.
He is preceded in death by his Parent; Lone Middleton and Lillie Stapleton Middleton; Wife, Christine Middleton; Brothers Joseph Middleton, Ralph Middleton, Louie Middleton and Lonnie Middleton; Sister, Faye Farmer; Brother in Laws, Lincoln John Farmer, Roy Skidmore and Bob Skidmore; Sister in Laws, Janice Middleton and Linda Middleton.
Everett leaves to cherish his memory his Children, Everett Middleton Jr. of Harlan, Melissa Shumate and Husband Freamon of Indiana, Theresa Helton and Husband Walter of Cranks; Siblings, Bud Middleton of VA, Mack Middleton of Harlan, Loretta Long of Evarts, Carolyn Wade of Cranks and Viola Skidmore of Virginia; Grandchildren, Dixie Leann Storrs and Husband Andrew, Christopher Scott Middleton, Ashley Bumgardner and Husband William, Whitley Jean Shumate, Regina Smith and Husband Brian, Karen Ealy and Husband James, Ellie Howard and Husband Michael, Anna Middleton and Brooke Middleton; 28 great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, family, and friends will also mourn his passing.
Visitation will be in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on January 25, 2022 from 11 to 1 PM. Funeral Service will be at 1 PM with Jessie Kinder and Tony Michael Ealy officiating. Interment will follow at the Hensley Cemetery in Smith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
