In 1998, he married the former Dawn Crowe of Savannah, GA. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Loreta Sikes Forbes Felix and John J Forbes Sr.; paternal grandparents, Brunelle Clifton Russell and Leroy Russell; and brother-in-law, Alan Bills ("AB"). Surviving are his parents; wife, Dawn Crowe Russell; daughters, Isabelle Emma Russell and Madeline Mackenzie Russell - all of Savannah, GA; sister, Michelle Russell Bills Wilcox (Wade); nephews, Brandon Tyler Bills and Chandler Matthew Bills (Lennox) - all of Atlanta, GA.; and parents-in-law, Command Sergeant Major Ret.
