Born in Germany, Mary was the daughter of the late Harold and Henrietta (Ward) Burton.
Mary grew up in Glen Cove and Keene Valley and dedicated her 40-year career to the Travelers Insurance Company before retiring several years ago. She has been a resident of Glastonbury for eleven years and previously resided in Canton. She was an avid home crafter, and loved making quilts, clothing, and home goods. She will be remembered for her sharp intellect, love of learning, easy laugh, and deep love for her family.
Mary is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; and her four grandchildren.
Mary was predeceased by her twin brother, Frederick Burton.
Burial in Norton Cemetery, Keene, NY.
