Roy Wayne Whitaker, age 74, of Saginaw, MI died on Jan. 15, 2022. Roy was born in Middlesboro, KY on Dec. 18, 1947 to John and Clarice Whitaker. Roy proudly served in the US Air Force out of high school ending up in Las Vegas, NV. There was no road in Las Vegas that Roy did not travel. Roy went on to start a career as a Journeyman Pattern Maker at General Motors. Roy loved good music, watch boxing, talk cars, Chinese buffet, and an ice-cold beer. He loved his family and was loved by many. Roy is survived by his daughters; Erika Whitaker Davis and Mary Whitaker, three grandsons: Jonathan Whitaker, Grant Davis, & Gavin Davis. Roy leaves behind one sister, Brenda (Carl) Widman, and brothers Ron (Gina) and Don Whitaker, and numerous amazing nieces and wonderful nephews. Roy will be missed by all who received daily phone calls with current events and travel advice he'd love to share.
