Mary Jo Whitaker, 63, passed away on January 15, 2022. Loving partner of 24 years to Jim Vieira, beloved sister of Fr. Cy Whitaker. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Terrence Whitaker, and by her parents, William and Rosemary Whitaker.
Mary Jo was a loving, generous, creative, artistic person. She was the strength and joy of those who knew and loved her. She loved her pets, adored her flowers, enjoyed shopping, antiquing, and decorating. We love her and will miss her. We pray that Our Lady, whom she loved so much, will lead her into eternal happiness.
Public visitation to be held at St. Francis Xavier Church ( 611 Sycamore St, Cincinnati, OH 45202) at 9:00 am on Monday January 24, 2022 with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 am. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
