Mary Frances Sharp, 76, died in an automobile accident on Sunday, January 16, 2022 enroute to worship at Forest Hill Church of Christ. Mary was born in Memphis to the late Bill & Mae Gaither. She graduated from South Side High School, Class of '63. As a military wife, she worked numerous jobs for the federal government in Ohio, Germany, Georgia and FDIC in Memphis. She was a stalwart Christian serving at Cordova Church of Christ, then at Forest Hill. She was a caring and devoted wife and mother; beloved by family and many friends. Mary and Gary enjoyed retirement with numerous trips. [Names of surviving family members omitted per Find A Grave policies.] There will be a celebration of her life at Forest Hill Church of Christ on Monday, January 24 beginning at 2:00 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations in Mary's name be sent to Forest Hill Church of Christ or organization of your choice.
