Dubiel - Marguerite Marie (Rishe) Dubiel, 95, passed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009 at Clifton Nursing Home in Somerset, MA.
Born and reared in Bristol, RI, to Antoinette Dansereau and Daniel A. Rishe, she lived most of the fifty-three years of her married life in Fall River. Her husband, Edward, died in 1991.
In the '40s the family lived in Australia for two years in connection with her husband's job. They returned to Fall River where she worked at Globe Manufacturing for twenty-four years as a latex inspector.
Aside from her job and after retirement she filled her ever-present sense of curiosity by exploring her family tree, taking classes in library science, studying then painting detailed watercolor renderings of various species of butterflies and solving crossword puzzles.
She leaves two daughters, Norma McKenzie of Weymouth and Jane Brown of Falmouth, son-in-law Allen and two granddaughters, Kristin and Kara, along with several nieces and nephews in Bristol and Warren, RI and in Alaska.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, December 2nd at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland St. Interment in Portsmouth Cemetery, Portsmouth, RI.
