It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of Mrs. Shirley Randall Morrison, 85, formerly of Clover, SC. Shirley peacefully passed away Saturday, January 8 in Rock Hill, SC. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now pain free and in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
Shirley was a long time member of Clover First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends there Tuesday, January 11, 2021 at 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life immediately following. The family also welcomes friends to join them at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, York SC for the graveside service.
Mrs. Morrison was born May 12, 1936 in Clover, SC to the late Vernon and Carrie Randall. She enjoyed a long and successful career caring for others as a registered nurse. Shirley loved her family dearly and was a loving wife of 64 years to her high school sweetheart Ray. As an involved mother to her two children, she was always the support system they needed. Shirley was also a proud and dedicated grandmother who enjoyed building special relationships with each of her grandchildren. The family remembers Shirley as their strongest prayer warrior.
Survivors are her husband of 64 years James Ray Morrison; daughter Pamela M. Kirby (Kyle) of Rock Hill, SC; sons Randy Morrison (Carla) of Windsor, CO; grandchildren Cameron Kirby and Taylor Kirby of Rock Hill, Shaun Morrison (Kaitlyn) of North Augusta, SC, Sela M. Ballard of Piedmont, SC, Dakota Morrison (Nichelle) of Jacksonville, FL and Hunter Santiago of Tacoma, WA; and five great grandchildren.
Shirley's family will always hold a special place in their hearts for the caregivers that Shirley grew to love: Marilyn, Susan and Melissa.
