Farming was Leo's passion in life. He enjoyed being out on the farm from morning to night. He raised hogs for 30 years. He also enjoyed working with wood, building many pieces of furniture and cabinets and many toys for his children and grandchildren.
He was a member of Bethesda Mennonite Church and participated for many years in the Nebraska MCC Relief Sale. He did 1-W service for three years in Wichita, KS and Denver, CO after they were married.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Deloris Goertzen-Rempel, and his sister-in-law Linda Duerksen.
Graveside services will be held at 9:45 a.m., Monday, January 24, 2022 at Bethesda Mennonite Cemetery at Henderson, followed by the Memorial service at 10:30 a.m., at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson.
