Donald Ray Robinson (67) lost his precious life on Thursday, January 20, 2022 after complications from peripheral artery disease. The son of Gordon and Alice Robinson, Donald was born in Oklahoma City on February 24, 1954. He was the second of four boys.

Donald married his love of 41 years, Candace Dee Murphy, May 22, 1981. He had a daughter, Stephanie, and Candy had two daughters, Bree and Ryan. In 1987, they welcomed their daughter Shea. Donald and Candy enjoyed hosting parties, traveling with family and friends, and volunteering. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family. Donald and Candy had so many amazing years together and were a shining example of true love.

Donald worked as a landman for most of his life. However, he had several years in the car business at Bob Moore Cadillac and El Dorado Motors. He made several lifelong friends through the car business and recently, he spent time with one of his very good friends restoring old cars.

Donald was a long-time member of Mayflower Congregational Church and more currently the First Sunday Group. His true passion was helping others. It was his calling in life. Everyone that knew him could see his beautiful heart as he was always the first to be there when you needed help of any kind. He showed it through his countless hours of preparing meals and feeding the homeless through the 363 group and lunches for the kids at Positive Tomorrows. Since Donald was a passionate and skilled builder, he donated his talents to Rebuilding Together that repaired homes for the elderly as well as helping with building projects for MMO's school for the deaf in Nicaragua.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Alice, and 2 younger brothers, Bryan and Mac. He is survived by his wife, Candy, four daughters Stephanie Robinson, Bree Nelson (Tony), Ryan Hill (Jason), Shea Heston (Ryan). Additionally, he is survived by his 10 grandchildren, Hunter Nelson (Kaitlyn), Kaleigh Nelson, Corbin Nelson, Presleigh White (Drew), Cameron Durham, Alex Stewart, Chloe Blalock (Ben), Axel Heston, Jett Heston, and Kash Heston along with 3 great-grandchildren, William, Krue, and Harper. He is also survived by his older brother, John Robinson (Carol), sister-in-law Cindy Robinson and many nieces and nephews who he loved and enjoyed spending time.

A special thanks to the wonderful doctors at Integris Baptist Medical Center and the nurses on 801 West and ICU. They are angels on earth.
