BERTHA MAE PARKER, age 83, passed away quietly on May 15, 2009 in Houston, Texas. Born in Daisetta, TX to Alphonse Henry and Mary Audrey Hermes, she is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank E. Parker, Jr. and brother, Al Hermes. Bertha is survived by her sons, Michael Parker, David Parker & wife, Blair, Richard Parker & wife, Suzi; grandchildren, Brandy & Arthur Malone, Jacqueline & Stephen Goodhead, Jennifer Parker & fiancé, Blake Bell, Adrienne Parker, Stephanie Parker, Jamie Parker, Kelly & Tom Williams; great-grandchildren, Joshua Rivers, Andrew & Kami Malone and William Ruiz; sister, Alice Parnell. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2009 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Bethany Christian Church, 3223 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77098 with Rev. Herschel Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Donations can be directed to Bethany Christian Church or a charity of your choice.
