ROCHELLE — Jason Boyd Russell, 41, passed away suddenly Thursday, Jan. 13 at his home, in Rochelle.
Jason was born on April 26, 1980, to James R. and Diana M. (Anderson) Russell, in Rochelle.
Jason enjoyed playing the bass guitar in his band and fishing. He loved golfing and was an avid Bears and especially Chicago Cubs fan.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Jim, in Jan. 2006; his mom, Diana, in Sept. 2018; his brother, Lonnie Russell and aunt, Shirley McMasters.
Jason is survived by his aunt; uncle; several cousins, close two friends and his favorite four-legged companion, Lucy.
There will be a private family service held. Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.
