Vicki Wilson
June 19, 1952 - January 18, 2022

Vicki Ann Wilson, 69 of Fritch, Texas walked into the arms of Christ on January 18, 2022. She was born on June 19, 1952, in Perryton, Texas to Richard Harry and Colleen (Crittenden) Shedeck.

She grew up in Spearman, TX and graduated from Spearman High school in 1970. After graduating Vicki attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University. Bill and Vicki were married on May 15, 1971 in Gruver, Texas. They have been married for 50 years, 33 weeks, and 2 days. Yes, Bill was counting!

Bill and Vicki have been residents of Fritch for almost 43 years.

Vicki was a church leader at the First United Methodist Church in Fritch, Texas for over 40 years. She was a Lay Leader and served on the church's board of elders. Vicki is known by many for her sales in Home Interiors and Avon. Vicki was the President of the Fritch Chamber of Commerce for ten years in Fritch. She also was a member of the Fritch Economic Development Corporation, President of the Fritch Park Committee and member of the Lake Meredith Aquatic Museum Board of Directors.

Vicki loved meeting friends and hanging out at all the Fritch Cafes where she would shoot the breeze. She never met a stranger. Vicki loved to give!, she was known to locals as the "sucker lady"; always toting a bag of tootsie roll pops around for "her special kids". As we all know, she loved to watch her "soaps" and never missed a Dallas Cowboy game or Texas Ranger game on TV (she'd even be known to watch both, on two stacked tvs in her living room).

Vicki's biggest love was her husband Billy, or "Tweety" as she called him. She loved her "roots" and was proud to tell everyone she was from Spearman and would joke not to take it out too badly on her for loving a guy from Gruver.

Vicki loved the Lord and come rain or shine, she would show up early at church to help deliver the Lord's word.

Survivors include: Her husband Bill Wilson of Fritch. Her daughter, Carmen and her children Julia and Gregory Brown of Rockwall. Teresa Cooper, a grandson Gavin Wilson and fiance Mekayla of Borger. Sister-in-law Connie Shedeck and her niece Michelle Osborn and family of Pampa. Her nieces, Patricia Shedeck and family of Houston and Claire Weaver of Odessa and her family. Her brother-in-law Ron Wilson and his wife Judi Wilson of Houston, TX. Her nieces Camille Rutherford and family of Edmond, OK and Rondi Wilson and family of Lewisville, TX. Her nephew Ryan Wilson and his family in Dallas. Sister-in-law Shirley Conyers of Lyton Springs, Texas. Many cousins in Colorado and Kansas.

Vicki is preceded by death by her parents Richard and Colleen Shedeck, her son, Landon Wilson, her brothers Michael and Kurt Shedeck, Bill and Lorene Wilson, Chuck Conyers.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Celebration Family Church, 811 East Broadway, Fritch. Interment will follow at Hansford Cemetery, Spearman.

The family will welcome friends on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Brown's Chapel in Fritch. She will lie in state at Fritch from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Sunday.
